1. Because your students care about accreditation. You may be skeptical. We recommend a simple, data-driven test: send an email to 500 students saying that you've grown as an organization and may be offering degrees for your programs at a specific price. Ask them to sign up.

2. As they say, "If you're explaining, you're losing." Your students care that they are investing their time into your training, and they want a tangible outcome for it. A degree outcome is understood around the world — with a degree, you don't have to explain whether your prior training at a bootcamp was adequate. Students understand how a degree can support their long-term career growth.

3. The accredited learning market is much larger than the unaccredited learning market. As your organization grows, offering internationally recognized credits will help you scale. They are more easily recognized by employers and other education institutions. Getting accredited takes work, and rightly confers prestige on your program. Student can use widely recognized credits to complete a larger curriculum (BA, BSc, MBA, etc.), even relying on multiple education providers online or on campus.

Here is a list of the worldwide colleges under Woolf now. Some are newer, and some have been around for years! All colleges run their own independent courses and issue their own degrees.

1. Woolf is the first global, collegiate higher education institution that qualifying other education organizations to join as member colleges and offer degrees.

2. Accreditation happens at two levels: your college and your degrees. We’ll ensure both your college and your degrees are correctly set up. Your college will need 2 people with PhDs to provide curriculum oversight (this is typically a couple hours per month). We will evaluate your curriculum to reveal any gaps that need to be filled for regulatory compliance.

1. Your curriculum can be taught as it is, in the same sequence — but we will need to map the content to a list of licensed courses inside a degree of your choice. When we do this exercise (in a Google sheet) it will reveal any gaps that need to be filled.

2. For example, a full masters degree is 2,250 hours of student time, and we may recommend a shorter degree like a PGCert (750 hours) if you don't have enough content, and you don't want to build it.

3. Similarly, if you are offering a postgraduate degree like an MS in Computer Science, you will need to teach some peer-reviewed literature. We can point you in the right direction so that your course meets accreditation standards.

1. Probably. Our accreditation team will evaluate whether it is enough to get started. Start your curriculum mapping assessment and schedule your free gap analysis consultation to determine how many credits your program is currently worth. You may want to start with a smaller degree and build your way to a bigger one.

2. It is not required to offer a full degree to benefit from Woolf. You can offer one or more courses that are part of a degree. This will enable your students to stack credits from your organization and from other organizations to complete their degree.

3. Many of our colleges start with a shorter degree. As they grow their content, they add more courses.

1. Your timeline depends on your readiness. You'll need to integrate your LMS with Woolf (about 2 code sprints with a small back-end team) or migrate onto our Canvas LMS.

1. Woolf is an accredited, fully licensed Higher Education Institution in Europe.

2. Woolf provides accredited degrees through the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). This standard is the most widely recognized form of accreditation in the world, and it is used as the national standard by more than 50 countries as the de-facto standard for higher-education.

3. The ECTS-accredited courses and degrees provided on the Woolf platform give students of any country a widely recognized form of accreditation: Most departments of education and universities in the world are very familiar with the ECTS system and recognize both courses and degrees that follow or exceed this standard.

4. We are also working on adding more accreditation partners around the world, such as in the United States and India.

5. ECTS standards are validated by an approved regulatory authority. Woolf works with English-language authorities that implement the ESG 2015. The Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) implements ESG 2015 with the aim of further promoting quality in further and higher education.

1. The ECTS system is the most sophisticated, widely recognized form of accreditation in the world.

2. ECTS credits are recognized in all 49 countries in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), as well as other receiving institutions around the world, including Canada and the United States. Degrees issued in the EHEA are normally automatically recognized between all member countries (which is a treaty obligation), but final decisions for immigration are always made by the receiving country.

3. Woolf courses are ECTS accredited.

4. One ECTS credit is the equivalent of 25 academic hours at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
